Stuart’s Landing: Boardwalk in Marshall, Michigan

Stuart's Landing is home to a beautiful walkway that we were able to visit today.  Located at 603 Homer Road, in Marshall, Michigan, it is a gorgeous place to fish, walk, relax, and even to exercise.  The below plaque hangs on the deck near the riverbank, and I whole-heartedly agree with the sentiment:  God must be an outdoorsman.  The way we decided to take, the boardwalk "starts" at Stuart's Landing, and travels westward along the Kalamazoo River.  Sounding more like a nature preserve than a public boardwalk, it is a very relaxing and beautiful place to be.  I do not know how long the path is, but it has to be well over a mile of stunningly fresh, green, and safe boardwalk.  We would, however, recommend a can of bug spray to really enjoy your walk.  :-)  The path is clear and safe for strollers and even wheelchairs.  It allows you to clear your brain, listen to the water, the birds, and the leaves rustling around you-- wi...
